Simply Fresh is a one-stop leader providing healthy, fresh and high quality agricultural produce for direct consumption and nutraceutical usage. We are a technology-driven, precision farming company that uses innovation and recognised global farming techniques to facilitate sustainable agriculture with fresh produce. Simply Fresh prides in using AI with insights into the scientific make up of plants to develop better farming practices, conserve the natural resources and maintain the nutritional value of the produce. We incorporate the latest technology in our farming practices for enhanced growing, nourishing, picking and processing of the produce. We work towards delivering better produce in terms of flavour, quality, taste and nutrition.

Simply Fresh produce ranges from nutraceutical plants, herbs, leafy greens and vine crops. The produce is grown at our greenhouses near Hyderabad which are equipped with the latest growing systems. Our greenhouses support some of the most effective growing techniques- benches, gutters, pots which are further supported by AI-driven fertigation systems.

Simply Fresh’s professional and experienced team has developed its own AI-enabled Ag Tech platform, FiaB (Farm In A Box) which facilitates the complete monitoring and control of the entire farm activities.

Suryaprakash Kukyan (‘Surya”) is a passionate business leader with over 30 years of experience in Agribusiness, Pharma, Edtech, Fintech, Information technology, and Professional services industries. A strategic thinker with a strong execution capability has complete business life cycle experience and held senior leadership and strategic advisory positions at global organizations such as Nasdaq listed EXL Services, WNS, EY, KPMG, PSI Data System. Surya in his professional career has set up new businesses, managed large global delivery operations, built leadership teams and developed new markets.

Surya is the founder of Medivita Consumer Healthcare, an Agriproduct processing company and co-founded Bio India Pharma an homeopathic company and Comply Global a compliance solution company.

DEEPAK MALIK

Director

Deepak is the Managing Director of the private equity firm, Proterra Investment Partners. He is a board member on various companies of Proterra’s private equity funds investments. Deepak was also part of the private equity team, Black River, managing investments in food, food processing, supply chain and logistics.

KISHORE MIRCHANDANI

Director

Kishore Mirchandani is a seasoned, forward-thinking, hands-on executive with a stellar record of success in building and selling businesses. Kishore has more than 30 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, founded the Outsource Partners International, Inc. in 2001 which was subsequently sold to a public company. Kishore’s current and past Board experience ranges across diverse global companies including TMA Group Inc (Miami), Avestar Holdings LLC (New York), Dodla Dairy (Hyderabad), Simply Fresh Pvt Ltd (Hyderabad), ComplyGlobal Ltd (Singapore), Fareportal (New York) and many more.

SAURABH GUPTA

Director

Saurabh is a Director of Proterra Investment Partners with his focus on Proterra’s food production, value-added processing, and distribution investments in India. Prior to Proterra, Saurabh served as a Vice President for Black River Asset Management, a division of Cargill, where he focused on food sector investments. Saurabh has also worked with ASK Property Investment Advisors, a real estate investment fund where he actively assisted in raising $120 Mn and also CarVal Investors, a division of Cargill.

DODLA SUNIL REDDY

Director

Sunil is a Director of Simply Fresh. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Mangalore University. He has been associated with the company since incorporation and has over 26 years of experience in the Dairy industry. He is responsible for setting up business strategy with focus on accountability, competitive performance, and value creation

JITESH AVLANI

Director

Jitesh is currently holding several professional roles, including serving as the Strategic Advisor to Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, a Board Director and shareholder in Reboot Pte Ltd and a member on the Advisory Board of a start-up focused on digital extrapolation and interpretation of financial statements. Jitesh has spent 33 years with Cargill and his most recent role was Managing Director, Cargill Trade & Structured Finance. Concurrently, Jitesh was Country Manager for Cargill Singapore and has held several other leadership roles globally including Chairman, Cargill India. He has managed supervisory responsibility over all of Cargill’s businesses in India, while still serving as the global leader of Cargill Ferrous International.
